A collaboration between the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, New America and the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at the Sesame Workshop, this project explores the educational technology ecosystem of very young children in Silicon Valley. The study examines the experiences, and attitudes of teachers, caregivers and parents, and quantified the educational technological environment of Silicon Valley’s youngest children. Data were collected through a survey of preschool and elementary school teachers, daycare providers and other caregivers and through a complimentary survey of parents of children age 0 to 9 living in Silicon Valley in California.
